There's a lot of us here on the net.
Lots of
great sites and others out there talking about music. I think its awesome and I
hope to spread the love that keeps integrity, passion, and soul in the
spotlight. I love music. I love the learning process, love to listen first, and then experience it.. and then explore it.. but when we find
something 'good', we usually know it. I'm in love with the subjective "it"
at the heart of good because you cant define it, but you can feel
it. ..and you cant answer questions like "who is the greatest band ever?"
but you can tap into that cosmic groove, and jam with it for a while.
Everyone should get that opportunity and with curious anticipation, but until
then there is almost enough music here to casually sort through.
I try to keep an open mind, try to find something to dissect and either learn from or enjoy but I do think there is a fine line between good and bad music. ex: the Beatles vs the Backstreet Boys. Good Music has integrity. Good Music isn't written to make money, good music is written because it can be. This is not meant to be a complete list, Simply a guide to some music you may not have heard that you might dig, then again you might not too. I'm not sayin everybody's gonna agree, if you like ICP more then DMB you might wanna turn back now but if your into badass jams and killer grooves you've got nothing to loose, check it out. You may also see a copy of all the files on my current play list here or download whatever I'm doing over here. I'm also working on a links section but I need more of those too so send some. Below you'll find a list of artists that span lots different genres and styles. I'm not really into that. It just has to be "good" and until you've listened to it and can make your own determination, you might have to trust me (gasp!). The current mp3 dir may give you some idea of what you'll find below. Required listening is in bold. If you listened to everything here, and you should, you would find a mess so don't define it, just try it and see if you like it. You either feel it or you don't so read on for a list of artists that make me feel it...
